We have already been guests here several times, in different combinations. Sometimes for brunch, sometimes for breakfast or even for lunch. The food was always of a high quality and tasty. The ambience also fits. Unfortunately it was sometimes so full (before Corona) that the service was noticeably swimming, which increased the waiting times extremely.

We went to buy some delicious bread yesterday at 5 p.m. and the display was full of cakes. At 5:40 p.m. (20 'before closing time) we wanted to get 2 pieces of cake to take away, but all cakes had already been cleared away. The very unfriendly waitress, who had been uncomfortably clearing in from outside at 5 p.m., explained to us that she was no longer allowed to sell cakes from 5:30 p.m. Not even to take away. And that she would have sold all the cakes without exception. But now we sat next door the whole time and could see that there was hardly any customer frequency in the wing. When I asked her that this was not true and that she probably lied to us, she sent me out of the store. What can I say?

Compared to before corona, unfortunately only 1 star. Breakfast plate quality and price-performance ratio bad. In the past there were only 2 staff members today. We always enjoyed coming up from Ravensburg. We will continue to do so, but for the time being definitely not going into the wing. One can only hope that it will be different again.

Big disappointment!! SELF-SERVICE !! Not to be compared with the breakfast menu at the time. Breakfast variations: hearty or sweet. Which is completely okay at first, BUT then came the big disappointment, with the hearty breakfast there are 2 slices of packaged sausage (salami and ham) and 2 slices of cheese, without any garnish or anything else. At the sweet breakfast there is a pack of jam and / or honey / Nutella. We paid 20 euros for a total of 2 breakfast variations, with one scrambled egg and two orange juices. The price-performance ratio is a complete disaster!

Unfortunately only one star, after the lockdown only self-service. Schade were always happy to be there beforehand.

No more breakfast choices, the breakfast plates are significantly smaller than before - for the same price - cheapest sausage (press sack, liver cheese) and sliced ​​cheese. A no-go for good gastronomy. In addition, self-service - no thanks, the cosiness and the great ambience of the café have been completely lost, there are much better alternatives in Wangen. What a pity...

Good service, great prices at lunchtime. The lunch menu can be viewed online in advance, which I find very practical. There is always a small salad and a dessert for the lunch menu. And for less than € 10. Staff is super friendly and the food comes relatively quickly, depending on the rush of customers, of course. We like to go there

We had an unpleasant experience there. The waitress was rude and made it clear that we had to leave in 9min, we wanted to go to the bathroom and then she got really mad and almost kicked us out. Our German isn't really good so her attitude changed completely the moment I opened my mouth. On the other hand she was surprisingly really nice and friendly with the other costumers. I need to say that the other waiters were nice and polite. Only that particular woman was really unprofessional.

The Café Flügler is a very nice, cozy restaurant in the heart of the old town of Wangen with a wide range of delicious cakes, cakes, biscuits, cold and hot food, cold, warm, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and special homemade fresh lemonades. The staff is friendly and competent. The prices are reasonable. The front part of the café is decorated in a very modern style, the rear part is totally different from the front part, looking backwards in the time of the 70s. There are small seating areas and cozy little sofa corners. The ideal location to escape the daily stress for a while and enjoy life in a culinary way.

Everything I have eaten there so far was delicious and only recommended. I am not really satisfied with the service due to the long waiting times. Will there but in the future if I have enough time like to have breakfast or lunch.
